Chalazia
Chalazia is an inflammation of the glands in the eyelid. Generally It causes pain, redness and swelling. Initially, drug treatment, injection into the cyst in more advanced stages, and in cases where these are not sufficient, the cyst is surgically removed.
Entropion
Occurs mostly due to corneal irritations and it is the situation where eyelashes and the lid turn inward. Drug treatment can be implemented however, actual solution can be achieved with surgeon.
Ectropion
Named for the situation where the eyelid turn outwards, which is accompanied by watering in the eye. Although there are different reasons, the solution is surgical treatment.
Ptosis
It is the medical name for drooping eyelids disease. Commonly it is seen as by congenital but also a trauma or aging can be considered as a reason for the seperation of retaining tissues. The treatment of ptosis is done surgically. The levator muscle, which is responsible for lifting the lid that causes the drooping, is surgically shortened and strengthened.
